Residual Solvents

Residual Solvent analyses are performed on an Agilent 7890 gas chromatograph (GC/FID) interfaced with an Agilent 7697 headspace sampler. The method is based upon full evaporation technology originally developed for the cannabis industry by Restek, a nationally recognized scientific supplier well established in the marijuana testing industry. Our goal is to develop this procedure for standardization for cannabis testing in Colorado. In addition to list of residual solvents mandated for Colorado testing, you may request testing results for ethanol, acetone, isopropyl alcohol, or any additional solvents of interest. We test for the mandatory regulated requirements, which include: butanes, heptane, benzene, toluene, hexane, and total xylenes. We can also test extraction and cleaning solvents as well as source solvents such as butane or propane in order to assess purity, as needed.
